Join ILCN Regional Representative for Australasia, Cecilia Riebl, and a panel of experts to explore how land trusts and other conservation organizations are evolving and adapting existing tools and approaches to better recognize cultural values, embed cultural practices, and facilitate improved access to private land for Indigenous people.

The webinar will be the third in our ‘Indigenous-led conservation’ series. The two preceding sessions delved into the dynamics of successful partnerships between First Peoples and conservation organizations (see summary article here) and what Indigenous-led conservation looks like on the ground (summary article here).

This webinar will welcome speakers working at the interface of western-based conservation and Indigenous caring for Country from Australia, Canada, and Aotearoa New Zealand.
