The French Scientific Committee on Desertification (CSFD) held its plenary meeting on 2–3 July 2025 to align on key desertification issues and preparations for COP17.

Prof. Quirico Migheli took part as a representative of DesertNet International (DNI), highlighting DNI’s commitment to international collaboration in the fight against land degradation and desertification, connecting research and action.
